Cash stolen in Bury St Edmunds burglary

Cash – totalling several hundred pounds – was stolen from a home in Grove Park, Bury St Edmunds, overnight.

Between 9.20pm last night and 5.15am this morning, someone got in through the back of the property and stole a large ornamental three-foot clear plastic Coca Cola bottle with cash inside.

Money was also taken from a purse and a wallet.

Anyone who was in the area between these times and saw anything suspicious, or has information about the burglar or burglars, should call Bury St Edmunds CID on 101, quoting crime number BU/15/1145, or Crimestoppers, anonymously if required, on 0800 555111.
