Cash and a mobile phone were taken from a teenage boy during a robbery in Bury St Edmunds yesterday (Tuesday).

The incident took place between 12.30pm and 12.45pm in St Olave's Road, near to the junction with Hunter Road.

The victim was approached by a man who threatened him and demanded that he hand over the items.

The man, who is described as being white, 6'3", of medium build and with a 'rough' complexion, ran in the direction of the park.

He was wearing a grey or black hooded top, black jeans and black Adidas shoes.

The victim was left unharmed by the incident, which police believe to have been a targeted attack.
