Car stolen in Thetford burglary

Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Thetford in which a car was stolen.

It happened last weekend, between 4.35pm on Saturday (July 11) and 10.30pm on Sunday (July 12), at a property in Ely Way.

The house was entered via a rear facing window and keys to a Ford Galaxy were stolen, as well as an Xbox 360 games console, two go-karts and a desktop computer.

The missing car is dark blue, with sections of the bonnet, rear panel on the driver’s side and front panel on the passenger’s side sprayed a lighter shade of blue. Its registration number is X821 VAR.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have heard or seen any suspicious behaviour in the area or may have any further information as to the whereabouts of the missing vehicle.
