Open Britain Bury St Edmunds volunteers survey Elmswell and Norton residents about Brexit deal vote
Campaigners fighting for a vote on the final Brexit deal conducted a doorstep residents' survey in Elmswell and Norton at the weekend.
Christina Birt, leader of campaign group Open Britain Bury St Edmunds, said: "The results we are getting from surveys and the conversations we are having on doorsteps clearly indicate that the majority of people are in favour of a people’s vote on the final Brexit deal."
The latest results were two-to-one in favour of a people’s vote
Volunteers will be surveying residents in Elmswell again on Sunday afternoon.
The organisation's group for young people – Our Future Our Choice – held a meeting at Oakes Barn, in St Andrew's Street South, Bury, on Sunday afternoon, attended by many new people.
