Bury Theatre Workshop is staging its second Shakespeare in the Park with The Tempest in the Abbey Gardens from June 20 to 22.
The company, which began last year, will be performing The Tempest, Shakespeare’s fantasy morality tale set on a magical island.
The play features song, dance, humour and imagery and follows the company’s production last year of a Midsummer Night’s Dream, also performed in the Abbey Gardens.
The Bury Theatre Workshop has also put on Dracula, Lettice and Lovage and An American Dream and will be performing The Graduate at the Theatre Royal in October.
The Tempest runs between June 20 and 22 and tickets are £10 (under 5s free) and are available from Bury Tourist Information Centre 01284 764667 or www.burytheatreworkshop.org.uk
