ICE Café in Bury St Edmunds adds music to offering

By Newsdesk Bury

The popular ICE Café in Bury St Edmunds is set to reopen with music facilities after a major redesign.

Infusions Culinary Experience (ICE) sells cookery and kitchen goods and also offers a restaurant and cookery school at its Rougham Industrial Estate base.

Its management has revealed little about its revamped café, other than its expected opening date of late February.

Last week a video was posted on YouTube, which teases what is on offer.

A caption reads: 'Food, music, beer, coffee and more. Not what you expect. Come hungry, leave happy, opening spring 2019.'

Sarah Stamp, director at Infusions, said: “I think it will be very popular, much like the existing café.

“We have a strong reputation for outstanding food and drink so (attracting customers) will not be a problem.

“It will be unique in Bury and I think it could fill a gap in the market.”

The cost of the project is yet to be disclosed as Infusion group continue preparations.

The previous café has currently re-located to the ICE cookery school, where the public can learn skills from experienced chefs.

Ms Stamp said it is 'business as usual' and to follow ICE on social media to find out the launch date.
