Recruitment company in Bury St Edmunds makes two major appointments as it targets growth over next three years

A company born out of a recession 23 years ago has promoted two of its staff as it prepares to grow the firm over the next three years.

Cooper Lomaz Recruitment in Lower Baxter Street, Bury St Edmunds, has named Mark Fletcher as its operations director and Richard Mould as sales director.

The firm which also has offices in Norwich and Lowestoft, will now look to add to its 40 strong team.

Co-founder and joint managing director Jane Lovell said: “Mark and Richard are exceptionally talented, with skills which complement each other and they are going to spearhead that growth.

“We recognised their potential when we first took them on as consultants. They shone out like beacons at the time and have proved themselves since.

“We are now looking to push on and gain new ground over the next three years.

“Our aim is to be recognised as East Anglia’s benchmark recruitment specialist.”

Both Mark and Richard worked in Cooper Lomaz’s IT division, one of the strongest of the sevenspecialist sectors it provides recruitment to.

Mark has been with the company since 2005 and helped set up the IT division. He will be the face of Cooper Lomaz.

Richard who joined in 2008 has been the company’s top performer and broke every one of its attainment records.

Cooper Lomaz was founded by Jane Lovell and Charlotte Cooper 23 years ago.

During 2012 the company found contract or permanent roles for approximately 700 people.

Its specialist fields are: IT; sales and marketing; oil, gas and renewable energy; accountancy; engineering, food manufacturing and supply chain.
