The former Cornhill Fire Station building in Bury St Edmunds has been bought by RO Real Estate, a UK commercial property investment and development company, for £3.425 million.

The property at 56 to 58 Cornhill is fully let to Halifax, Harriet’s Café and Laura Ashley, and produces a combined total rental income of £259,425 a year.

Richard Bourne, head of RO Real Estate, said: “This property is located in a prime pitch, within a strong performing market town with good demand and low vacancy.”
