Hospice to shut shop

A FIXTURE of Mildenhall town centre has closed after 16 years of business – but it will return.

St Nicholas Hospice Care’s shop shuts its doors on Monday but negotiations to move to a larger store elsewhere in the town are ongoing.

Ian Daniels, head of retail for St Nicholas Hospice Care, said: “We’ve decided to upgrade to a bigger and better store as the lease on the existing property had come to an end. We are really looking forward to relocating and opening a newer, bigger and better store soon, with space to sell fantastic pre-loved furniture.”

Mr Daniels thanked staff, volunteers and customers who had supported the hospice shop during the last 16 years.
