A BURY St Edmunds supermarket has beaten all of its company’s stores, including those in Scotland, by selling the most amount of haggis.

In a normal week, Sainsbury’s, in Bedingfeld Way, sells about six of the traditional Scottish dish, but from last Wednesday until Sunday it sold 1,200.

From 11am-5pm today and tomorrow, depending on stocks, customers will have the chance to sample original, vegetarian and alcoholic ginger beer haggis.
