Bury St Edmunds woman, 80, died 11 weeks after town centre collision, inquest told
An elderly woman from Bury St Edmunds died in hospital 11 weeks after being in collision with a van in the town centre.
Norah Sharpe, 80, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital following the accident in Whiting Street close to the junction of Abbeygate Street on June 27.
Mrs Sharpe died on September 11.
The inquest at Suffolk Coroner's Court in Ipswich opened on Friday and was adjourned to allow further enquiries to take place.
