Bury St Edmunds students go for gold expedition

Eleven students from County Upper School, in Bury St Edmunds, have taken part in an expedition to North Wales as part of their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

In variable weather conditions, the group completed its four-day adventure in the Rhinog mountains, Dolgellau, during their Easter holidays.

They are said to have coped ‘extremely well’ with navigating, camping and cooking.
