The Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds’ panto cast arrived in dramatic fashion this week to start rehearsals.
The cast of Cinderella gathered at the Guildhall in the town to read through their scripts with theatre director Karen Simpson, who is also directing the production.
She welcomed cast and crew, telling them Bury loves a traditional panto. Written by former Blue Peter presented Peter Duncan, the panto’s cast includes Aimee Barret as Cinderella, Philip Cox as her father Baron Hardup, and James Parkes and Jon De Ville as the outrageous sisters Katy P and Lady G.
It will run from November 28 to January 11.
