Bury St Edmunds firm comes to the rescue of beauty

When Simply Beautiful Collections (SBC) found its labels for selling on shopping channels were too small to feature product information it turned to Fix-A-Form in Bury St Edmunds who produced a batch of 40,000 four page labels.

Jane Norman marketing manager for Pevonia and HBD Europe in Needham Market, the company behind SBC said: “This solution enabled us to get a unique offering together for our Collagen Collection for use on the shopping channel and we are very pleased with the outcome. It sits neatly and cleanly on the base of the products.

“Our market is most definitely European in profile and so we are now looking towards rolling leaflet-labels out over a great many more projects ahead of the new EU packaging regulations affecting Cosmetic Products which become effective July 2013.

“The new regulations aim to ensure customers’ health is protected and that they are well informed by the monitoring of the composition and labeling of products. “The regulation also provides for the assessment of product safety and the prohibition of animal testing which we fully support.

“We need to include multi-language variants of our products to cover markets including Italy, Germany – and even Japan where the QVC channel has an immense following – and the Fix-a-Form allows us to do that.”
