Estate agents Whatley Lane has been helping put Suffolk properties on the map by taking part in a new game show soon to be aired by ITV.

The new programme, Guess This House, begins on Monday July 27 and challenges two couples to value three different properties and their contents.

It will be fronted by presenter Saira Khan, who came to fame in the first series of The Apprentice.

Three properties, Goldsmiths House in Northgate Street, a medeival hall house, High Town House at Rattlesden, a property with a lake set in its own grounds, and a 70s stye home in Holly Close, Horringer, will be featured during the 25 episodes.

Contestants were filmed visiting each property and then had to give their estimate of the value of each.

Whatley Lane put together a portfolio for each property and also flew a drone over the Rattlesden House to provide aerial footage.

James Sawyer from Whatley Lane said: “It was a major coup for us as we’re rather new kids on the block in Bury St Edmunds where the market is quite competitive so it was great to be singled out by a national TV company.

“The properties are a range of modern and old, town and country.”

The programme will be aired at 12.30pm weekdays.

The production team, 12 Yards Production, conceived the award-winning Weakest Link.
