Bury St Edmunds club brings golf to the arc

Bury St Edmunds Golf club is showing the enjoyment of the sport with a fun day at the arc Shopping Centre in the town today (August 1).

In partnership with the Bury Free Press, Charter Square is full of tests with the club for all ages, including an adult and child putting challenge to win vouchers, a driving range, a golf darts board and a virtual nearest to the pin competition.

Graham Judge, Seniors captain at the club and chairman of the marketing committee said: "The idea is to promote not just the golf club but golf itself and to get the young and old interested in the sport.
