Bury St Edmunds bar bids farewell

The popular Ivory Café and Cocktail Bar in Bury St Edmunds will shut its doors for a final time tomorrow night.

The venue, which has been holding a week-long festival, is closing after almost six years at its a Abbeygate Street base.

Owner Caroline Wotton said: “We’ve received lots of little notes from our customers, which we’ve put in a frame. It’s nice to know what we’ve created and have achieved.”
