Part of a busy road in Thetford will be closed for resurfacing in August.

The A134 Bury Road from its junction with Mill Lane to 50 metres south of the junction with Queensway will be closed for resurfacing which is due to start on Monday August 10. A diversion will be put in place.

On Monday August 3 the road will be restricted to one lane only to allow kerbing and pavement works ahead of the resurfacing. Traffic will be controlled with temporary traffic lights.

The work costing £149,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council and take three weeks.
