We are sorry that some readers have found their copy of today’s Bury Free Press has suffered printing faults and we are currently trying to remedy this.

It appears some copies of the paper have pages that either appear faint or have nothing printed on them.

Shops affected are due to receive new copies tomorrow and readers are asked to return the paper to the shop where they bought it for a refund or a replacement copy of the paper.

Bury Free Press editor Paul Richardson said: “We are very sorry that some readers have not had a newspaper of the print quality they, and we, would expect.

“We are currently working to get new supplies out to retailers and are investigating the cause of the fault to try to ensure it does not happen again.”
