Bury car vandal sought by police

Two cars were vandalised in the centre of Bury St Edmunds in the early hours of this morning.

Between 3.30am and 4am a man was seen to smash wing mirrors off a red Rover Metro, which had been left in the car park to the rear of the multi-storey in Chalk Road South, and a blue Ford Fiesta parked in Kings Road.

The offender is described as white, about 6ft tall, of slim build, with a Mohican hair style and a tattoo on his right forearm.

Anyone who believes they may know this man, or who has information in relation to these crimes, is asked to contact PC Jonathan Burke at Bury St Edmunds Police Station on 101 quoting reference BU/15/1036, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
