Burglary in Beck Row prompts appeal and reminder from police

Police are appealing for information and reminding residents to lock their doors after a burglary in Beck Row at the weekend.

The incident took place between 1.15am and 8am on Saturday December 13 at an address in Linden Walk.

Entry was gained via an insecure back door and cash was stolen from out of a handbag and wallet.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Bury St Edmunds Priority Crime Team on 101 quoting MH/14/2117, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Residents are reminded to ensure they always secure doors and windows before going to bed.
