Britain's Got Talent Thetford magician reveals first venue for 4MG live shows
A Thetford magician is set to bring some of his friends from the Britain's Got Talent (BGT) final to the town as the first venue in their UK tour.
James Samuel, 19, has confirmed he, Harry Nardi, and Theo Mallalieu, from the act 4MG, will take to his home town stage in The Carnegie, in Cage Lane, for a live show on November 15.
James said: "It is really exciting to do a show in Thetford, I have been lucky enough to perform, with the thanks of BGT, in some prestigious venues but it has always been my dream to do a big show in town, so I am super excited."
4MG made it to this year's BGT final after amazing the nation with incredible card tricks in their audition, mind tricks in their semi-final, which culminating in the return of 2009 finalists Stavros Flatley, and a Stranger Things-inspired final performance.
Tom Scott, one of the town council's venue and events co-ordinators, said: "We're incredibly proud to have James here in The Carnegie. It's always fantastic to have such talent come from your home town and we're very excited to work with him and 4MG when they come to our venue."
The 'Boyband of Magic' are keeping the details of the show close to their chests as it is in the very early stages, but James has said the audience can expect a really great night.
He said: "We will have a variety of magic and a little comedy on the night that everybody will be able to get involved in and some up close magic on the big screen too- it is just going to be a lot of fun."
The group are currently working on further dates across the country and will be releasing more information on them very soon.
