STAFF at Greene King have wished a fond farewell to one of its staff who was made redundant after 16 years at the company.
Frances Brace, who handled public relations, was given a send off at the company’s Bury St Edmunds headquarters on June 10.
“I’ve had an amazing time; done loads of exciting things and had the support, goodwill and kindness of vast numbers of people,” she said.
“I have relished the challenges – the creation of the museum and Visitor Centre; the communications around the company’s acquisitions; the introduction of the charity ball and the Real Food & Beer Festival.
“It has been my privilege and my pleasure to help protect and build the reputation of Greene King, our brewery and our beers and I wish the business extremely well for the future.”
