Break-in attempt sets off Bury school’s alarm

Intruders who tried to break in to Howard Middle School, Bury St Edmunds, set off an alarm and left empty handed.

Police say the glass in a fire door was broken and an external cupboard was forced at about 9.30pm last Sunday but nothing was taken.

Any one who saw suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact PC Victoria McNee at Bury St Edmunds Police Station on 101 quoting reference BU/15/828, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
