Brandon home burgled while occupant in the garden


A home in Brandon was burgled in broad daylight while the householder was in the back garden.

The incident occurred at around at a house in Thetford Road.

The victim had gone outside into the back garden at about 3pm on Wednesday, leaving the front door of the house in Thetford Road unlocked.

When she went back indoors she discovered that her purse had been stolen from her handbag in the kitchen.

Police urge householders to be on their guard and lock doors.
