Motorcyclists are being invited to take part in a bikers’ Easter egg ride out from Needham Market to Bury St Edmunds at the end of the month.

The purpose of the event is to deliver Easter eggs to pupils at Bury’s Priory School, which supports young people with special educational needs.

Ride organiser Richard Collins, whose son Daniel previously attended the school in Mount Road, said: “Although Daniel was not able to have a full time education due to his complex needs the school supported him in many areas of his life.”

Mr Collins, of Willisham, near Ipswich, has asked for bikers interested in taking part to contact him on 07796 033171 so he is able to give police an indication of the number of people involved.

The ride out will set off from the Beacon Hill services in Needham Market at around 11.15am on March 31.
