BFP reunites long lost sisters

A mother-of-four has been in touch with her long lost sister after making an appeal in the Bury Free Press (BFP).

Jacqui Miller used to live in Bury St Edmunds but has not seen her younger sister since moving away 40 years ago.

An article about her desperate search appeared in the BFP on Friday and on Sunday she received an email from her sister, Lisa Rose, revealing she lived in Great Barton and had also been searching for her.

Jaqui, of Canterbury, said: “I just thought, wow, after all these years, and to know that she’d been looking for me too. I just want to give her a big hug!”

She added: “I’ve finally found my sister and I’m really, really happy about it. I’m looking forward to meeting her and think I’ll need a big box of tissues.”
