Peter Rabbit would have been proud of some young entrepreneurs who followed a trail but not to the carrot patch.

These lucky winners have received a special prize after taking part in two Beatrix Potter themed events, one at Bury St Edmunds Library and the other at a fun day in the Abbey Gardens.

Ben Jean-Jacques, 12, and Jazmyne Bugg, two, are pictured here with Andrea Farrow, Melford Hall events organiser, and Tracey Burrows, library assistant. They win tickets to Melford Hall’s outdoor production of Once Upon a Time There were Four Little Rabbits. Beatrix stayed at the hall and did some of her sketches there.
