A charity online auction has raised nearly £6,000 for West Suffolk’s neonatal unit.
People were invited to bid for a range of unique prizes during the two week auction, including meeting Strictly Come Dancing’s Brendan Cole, a photo opportunity with Frankel, the renowned racehorse, a meal for six prepared by Regis Crepy from The Great House and Maison Bleue and rugby training with Andy Gomarsall.
They also had to chance to edit the Bury Free Press for a day.
The auction for the 30 lots losed on Sunday night and raised a total of £5,730.
Dave Gooderham, fundraising manager for the hospital, said: “Our thanks go to everyone who supported this auction so generously – both through donating lots and bidding for the prizes.
“We are absolutely delighted with the total we raised, every penny of which will be put to good use by our neonatal unit.”
