Attempted lead theft from Cowlinge church

Police are appealing for information after the attempted theft of lead from a church roof in Cowlinge.

An edge of lead was pulled up on the roof of the church in Newmarket Road, Cowlinge, between 5.45pm on October 23 and 9am the following day. But nothing was stolen.

Anyone who noticed unusual activity or vehicles in the area around the time of this incident is asked to contact Pc Marshall at Suffolk Police on 101, quoting crime reference 37/11236/15.
