Arsonists target equestrian point-to-point fence in Ampton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a point-to-point fence was set on fire in Ampton at the weekend.

The arson took place between 6pm on Saturday, March 7, and 7am on Sunday, March 8 at the show ground.

During this time a point-to-point fence was deliberately set alight causing an estimated £2,500 worth of damage.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has information relating to this crime, is asked to contact Bury St Edmunds Police on 101 quoting reference BR/15/206, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
