Archaeological presentation to be held in Great Whelnetham to reflect on discoveries made

A special event is being held in Great Whelnetham next week to update the community on the village's recent archaeological finds.

The Archaeological Presentation will focus on the discoveries made at the Phase 2 site of the Erskine Lodge development site, which gave indications that a settlement dating back to AD1 may have been located there.

Another development, carried out by Havebury Housing and investigated by Archaeological Solutions Ltd, at Fenton Farm earlier this year also flagged up a series of graves.

The talk will be held at Whelnetham Community Centre on Thursday, March 28 at 6.30pm.
