Police are appealing for help to trace a missing 55-year-old man from Mildenhall.

Simon Collins was reported missing to officers on Saturday, February 21, having last been seen at home in Mildenhall on October 27 2014. He had recently returned to the UK from Australia, where he had been working.

Friends and family of Simon have become concerned about his welfare having not heard from him since October and police enquiries over the past two days have failed to locate him.

Simon is described as white, 5ft 11in, of slim build, with long brown/greying hair. When last seen he is thought to have been wearing a navy blue fleece, grey cargo trousers and a white T-shirt with Brazilian motifs on.

In addition to being known in the Mildenhall area, Simon is also believed to have links in northern Scotland, specifically the isle of Handa and area of Western Alligin near Inveralligin.

Anyone who believes they may have seen Simon, or who has any information about his whereabouts, is asked to contact the duty sergeant at Mildenhall Police Station on 101.
