A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has launched an appeal to plough up some information about a classic tractor which he bought with his savings.
Cameron Lambert paid £1,000 for the International Harvester but is unable to register it for the road as its previous owners did not have its logbook.
The Stowupland High School pupil now needs a document to link the tractor with its registration number.
Once registered, he plans to take the vehicle to ploughing demonstrations and shows.
His grandad Ralph, 74, of Mendlesham, said: “Someone, somewhere if we were terribly lucky might have a photograph of the tractor showing its registration number.
“Someone might have even kept the records. We just need some sort of document.”
It is believed the tractor, which was made in 1956, was originally sold by Cornish and Lloyds in Bury St Edmunds.
The tractor is a B250 model with registration KGV 399 and the serial number is 2889. Anyone with information should contact Mr Lambert on (01449) 766320.
