Appeal after goods taken from parked lorry near Kentford

Police in Forest Heath are appealing for information after goods were stolen from a lorry parked beside the A14.

The theft took place between 11pm on Wednesday, February 25 and 6.50am on Thursday, February 26 in a layby on the westbound carriageway just prior to the Kentford exit.

During this time the container lock and bolt seal were removed and 22 ‘Koolbreeze Kompact 18’ portable air conditioning units were stolen from inside.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Pc Rebecca Gardiner at the Forest Heath Neighbourhood Response Unit on 101 quoting reference NE/15/354, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
