Anti-bacterial wipes stolen in A14 lay-by lorry raid




Six pallets of anti-bacterial wipes were stolen during a raid on a lorry parked in an A14 lay-by.

Thieves banged on the cab of the lorry on the A14 westbound at Creeting St Mary near Beacon Hill Services between 2am and 3am on Friday, June 5.

They told the lorry driver to stay in the cab, slashed the curtain of the 40ft trailer and offloaded about six pallets of detox green anti-bacterial wipes.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, saw any suspicious activity or has dash cam footage of the incident should contact Stowmarket Police, quoting crime reference 37/30942/20.
