Police are appealing for information about a burglary in Great Saxham where an alarm was set off.

It took place at a home in Hargrave Road on Tuesday December 1 at about 8.30pm when entry was forced at the rear of the property and an untidy search of the sitting room was made.

But the burglar alarm sounded and the burglar left apparently empty handed.

Anyone with information should contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting reference 18588/15.
