A11 crash in Thetford leads to lane closure




A crash on the A11 in Thetford earlier today left a car upside down and caused significant tailbacks.

The incident happened at around midday near the roundabout which links the A11 to the Brandon Road section of the A134.

Two cars are believed to have been involved and although the cause of the accident remains unclear, one of the cars finished up on its roof in nearby trees.

Police temporarily closed the southbound lane of traffic, leading to congestion along the route, although traffic has now returned to normal.
