This week’s winner of See it, Snap it, Send it is Michael Wallis, from Rattlesden, with this picture of a great spotted woodpecker.
The early morning visit was ‘a real treat’, said Michael, who wins the chance to have his picture made into an A3 canvas print courtesy of Denny Bros’ Sprint Print service in King’s Road, Bury.
Michael submitted his picture using the upload tool on the home page of our website – www.buryfreepress.co.uk
Amanda Laws, from Bury St Edmunds, sent in this picture taken at Lackford Lakes. Amanda said: “There was no breeze, so the lake was crystal clear for reflections.”
This monochrome picture was taken on a cold day at West Stow by Emma Bradley, 17, from Bury St Edmunds, who said she particularly liked the reflection of the trees on to the lake.
“If this cold weather is getting you down, it won’t be long before the Abbey Gardens look like this again,” writes John Biggs, from Bury St Edmunds. “Roll on summer.”
