A new service specialising in the sale of bungalows across Suffolk has been launched.

Suffolk Bungalows was launched on January 1 and bosses promise to offer a service that compliments existing agencies rather than directly competing against them.

Ian Gausden, co-director of Suffolk Bungalows, said: “We already have a thriving estate agency business in the town under the name of Mortimer & Gausden, but for some time have been very aware that a certain sector of the market was not being fully supported.

“Whilst one wouldn’t want to generalise, I think it is fair to say that when people buy a bungalow, it tends to be with a view to living in it for many years, rather than as a ‘stop gap’ or ‘stepping stone’ to their next home.

“We also know that when people decide to sell their bungalow it is often with a heavy heart and if they haven’t moved for a while the whole process can seem a little daunting. We listen to our clients needs and work with them to ensure their move goes through at a pace they feel comfortable with.”
