BBR GTi is a specialist British tuning firm that’s been working on cars since the days of the Mk1 Ford Escort. They have kudos and know their onions – so who better to give more oomph to the wonderful-handling but slightly down-on-power Mazda MX-5?

A chassis as good as the MX-5 really is wasted with just 160hp to play with. BBR couldn’t agree more and so, through the magic of ECU electronics tuning and other professional wizardry, they’ve squeezed the bulletproof Mazda motor up to a much healthier 200hp. Which is far more like it.
