X-Factor winner Matt Cardle will join the cream of East Anglian music talent for the Homegrown Music Festival, in Barrow, next month.
As the headline act for the event, which is from August 22 to 24, the multi million selling Matt, whose family live near Halstead, in Essex, says he ‘can’t wait’ to perform in local surroundings.
Matt won the The X Factor in 2010 and during the last four years he has released three albums and done five tours,
“It doesn’t feel like four years since I won the X Factor,” said Matt. “It feels a lot less time, I’ve done so much in these four years.”
In between festival dates this summer, Matt said he will be doing some more studio work for his fourth album due out next year.
And what can fans expect from him at Homegrown?
“I have three albums to choose from, so probably songs from all three and perhaps some cheeky covers.”
