The LA Times acknowledges Alan, who is a twice Grammy-award winning pianist and arranger, as ‘one of the greatest living jazz pianists’. Mark Nightingale has gained a reputation as one of the top-flight jazz trombonists worldwide.

Accordion-wielding Pascuala Ilabaca, who performs on Wednesday, November 19 with her band Fauna, is a favourite on the new scene of young Chilean singer-songwriters. Her music is rooted in traditional sounds integrating jazz, pop and rock.

British blues rock guitarist Joanne Shaw Taylor appears on Thursday, November 20. She was voted ‘Best British female vocalist’ at the British Blues Awards.
