A tribute act paying homage to two of the world’s greatest rock bands, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, is coming to Sudbury’s Quay Theatre on Saturday, January 16.
As featured in BBC TV documentary The Joy of the Guitar Riff, alongside musicians Brian May, Tony Iommi and Dave Grohl, Purple Zeppelin are four talented and versatile musicians with decades of experience between them.
Genuine admirers of both Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, the group was voted Best Tribute Act 2012.
Their show is a theatrical insight into two rock giants, with special effects, on stage ‘artistic differences’ and even some audience participation.
From Black Night, Strange Kind of Woman and Smoke on the Water to Kashmir, Whole Lotta Love and Rock & Roll, audiences will be treated to more than 30 songs in one spectacular show.
