FAMILIES have been packing out the Bury St Edmunds Theatre Royal this Christmas to see the egg-cellent pantomime, Mother Goose.
Box office staff at the Georgian theatre have been busy this festive season as tickets sell well for the show which tells the story of Geraldine and her golden-egg laying goose, Priscilla.
The theatre has been full of laughing children and cheering adults day after day, night after night since the launch on December 3.
Some audience members have even returned to the playhouse for a second time to watch the magical musical masterpiece.
Paul Couch, from the Theatre Royal, said: “We knew we had a quality show on our hands from the very first read-through.”
The upbeat and fun story offers something for all the family with jokes, songs and dance routines.
There are still tickets available for after Christmas. The pantomime is open until January 16, with performances in the morning, matinee and evening.
