A newly formed group of women artists will share their work and practice in a debut exhibition at Elsey’s Gallery, in Bury St Edmunds.
The emerging artists, known as the 4PRINTmakers, have different backgrounds including ceramics, graphics, textiles, painting and community arts but have found common ground in printmaking.
Having met at Gainsborough House Print Workshop, in Sudbury, they have developed different styles using techniques such as etching, linocut, woodcut, screen printing and collage.
As a group, they have helped to inspire, encourage and motivate each other with their different styles complimentary to one another.
Their work will be on show from Saturday September 6 to Sunday October 5.
Elsey’s Gallery is in Elsey’s Yard, off Risbygate Street, Bury St Edmunds.
The gallery is open Tuesday and Wednesday and Friday to Sunday from 11am to 4pm. Visit hadleyexhibitions.co.uk
