The ever popular Woolpit Steam rally will roll up over the weekend of May 30 and 31 at Warren Farm, Wetherden.

It follows last year’s hugely successful show which saw £17,500 donated to 20 local charities and community groups.

The 2015 event features a special display of early Barford & Perkins petrol rollers and promises to provide one of the best displays of vintage and veteran tractors in the Eastern counties with about 20 pre-1930s tractors anticipated. More than 80 stationary engines driving an array of mills, pumps and other machinery together with a wood sawing display will all add to the atmosphere of a bygone age.

There will also be a traditional fun fair including electric yachts, dodgems and side stalls as well as a full ring programme.

Gates open from 10am to 5pm. Visit www.woolpit-steam.org.uk
