Shakespeare and Gilbert and Sullivan will grace the 32nd season of open air performances at Kentwell Hall, in Long Melford.
The GB Theatre Company return for a third year with a full cast performing two of the Bard’s greatest works.
The season opens with Macbeth today and Sunday at 7.45pm followed by The Comedy of Errors tomorrow at 7.45pm and Sunday at 3.30pm.
On Saturday August 2 at 7.45pm, Gilbert and Sullivan’s witty and tuneful Iolanthe will be performed by the award winning South Anglian Savoy Players.
Outstanding choral singing accompanied by a live orchestra will make for an entertaining evening of political satire as relevant today as 120 years ago.
Weather is no threat to open air entertainment at Kentwell - the show will go on whatever the weather with seats available under cover and gates open well before each performance.
