A diverse exhibition opens in Rougham this weekend, showcasing works from 30 professional artists based in East Anglia.

From September 6 to 28 the 15th annual Artworks exhibition returns to Blackthorpe Barn, showcasing works from painters, sculptors and printmakers whose subject matter ranges from the community to the subconscious and the cosmos.

There will also be daily chances to meet the artists at the exhibition.

Five new members are exhibiting this year including watercolour painter Ruth McCabe, atmospheric artist Doug Patterson, and woodblock printer Eileen Revett.

A Mini Artworks charity prize draw of 30 original artworks will also take place.

Art for Cure, which raises money through breast cancer charity Breakthrough, has been chosen as this year’s Artworks charity.

The barn will be open daily from 10am to 5pm. Entry is free.
