Two of the comedy circuit’s hottest new talents will be splitting sides at Diss Corn Hall at the end of the month.
Up and comers, Sara Pascoe and Gerry Howell, will be taking to the stage at the Corn Hall Comedy Club on May 31.
Pascoe’s star has risen unchecked in the last two years, with appearances on TV stand-up shows including Stand Up for the Week, Live at the Apollo and Don’t Sit on the Front Row.
The gifted actress’ delivery has been compared to a female Russell Brand and she comes to the Corn Hall armed with a glut of new material.
With a performance style that has been described as lying somewhere between ‘Mr Fantastic and the mysterious encyclopedia of Uqbar’, Gerry Howell has been compared to a young Eddie Izzard.
Whether its recounting his early ears growing up in a post office or regaling audiences with tales of playing chess with pandas, Howell’s imaginative energy is always at the fore.
Tiernan Douieb will compere the evening.
Tickets are £9 in advance or £10 on the door. Minimum age is 18.
